Man in a Mask WIP

I know it’s been a while since my last post. I’m finding it hard to sit my butt down and do meaningful amounts of work on my animation lately. A little bit has to do with the little bit of discouragement that comes from know that you can spend hours noodling a foot, or a finger, or a shoulder to time it just right; and when you step back you realize that you haven’t progressed as much as you THINK you should have. I guess you have to pick your battles and realize that since you’re still learning you can’t progress as fast as you’d like. The key is perseverance. Not to give up. It’s a constant battle, not just in animation, but life in general. It seems like in everything, we’d like to get things done quicker and quicker. Anyway, this pass is linear. After my last webinar with Jason Ryan, I learned that he works in this way to make sure thing are working well, to check if anything is “gimbal” locking, and that he then playblasts in stepped. It makes sense. To me at least. There’s still a lot of work to be done. This is by no means finished, but I’m happy with where it’s going.
