Jason’s workflow so far is:
Golden positions: Key frames
Rough timing
Breakdown positions
Q: what’s the rule of thumb when a character is just standing still somewhere, say, punching his time card… are his legs perfectly straight? or do you ever let the knees bend a bit? or does it matter?
A: it really doesn’t matter. It really depends on what looks best depending on the scene, the character and his attitude. It might not be physically correct, but if it looks good, it doesn’t matter.
